Dear friends,
It gives me a great pleasure to announce this 3rd Annual International CME on Oncopathology at Pune.
I am very excited to let you know that many world class international pathologists from USA, Canada and India are participating in this conference.They include Dr. Andrew Evans, Dr.Patricia Shaw, Dr.Dean Daya, Dr.Prashant Jani, Dr.Robert Buckman, Dr.Dharam Ramanani, Dr.Raj Vajpayee and Dr.Sanjeev Deodhare .
The most interesting features of this meeting are as follows:
• Digital Pathology - The cases will be presented in Digital Pathology format.OncoPath CME is the only pathology meeting in India, which presents the pathology glass slides in Digital format. The digital slides replaces the need of microscope and allows Pathologist to view slides at any desired magnification in real time.
• Introduction of short courses – This is the first time, we are introducing short courses in OncoPath CME. The short courses will give you brief review of the disease entity along with latest update in diagnostic and therapeutic fields. They are designed for the practising pathologists as well as to the post graduate students. In this meeting, we are presenting three short courses. Short course on Ovarian surface epithelial tumors will be presented by Dr.Patricia Shaw from Canada, that of Testicular tumors will be presented by Dr.Dharam Ramnani from USA and a short course on Endometrium biopsy interpretation will be presented by Dr.Dean Daya from Canada.
In addition to short courses, variety of other topics will be presented by our international speakers. Presentations by the distinguished faculty will answer your questions and instill confidence in your ability to diagnose challenging cases.
• Interactive Panel discussion by Oncologists, Oncosurgeons and Pathologists - Very well known Medical Oncologists and Onco- Surgeons will participate in an interactive panel discussion along with our pathologists.

With great sadness, we are notifying to all the delegates of International Oncopath CME for 2012 that one of our prominent international speakers for 2012 Oncopathology CME, Dr. Robert Buckman has suddenly died. We are deeply saddened by his sudden departure. We offer our condolences and pray to almighty God for his eternal peace.
Dr.Patricia Shaw, who is one of our prominent international speakers at Int. Oncopath CME 2012, is wife of Dr. Robert Buckman. Because of sudden death of her husband, she will not participate in International Oncopathology CME for 2012.
Her talk titled -“ An update on Ovarian Cancer” will be delivered by Dr.Dean Daya from Canada. Dr. Rati Vajpeyi, a prominent oncologist from Canada will deliver talk of Dr.Robert Buckman, titled-A Medical Oncologist’s perspective: Expectations of the Pathology report.
Dr. Vinod Shidham, a very famous cytologist from USA will be joining us as a faculty member for 2012 Int. Oncopathology CME and he will deliver a short course in “Diagnostic Cytopathology of Effusion Fluids.”
